unrequitted love is not new to me. kindly check out my ridiculous autobigraphical post to find out. however there is really no failure here. no tears and no pain and definitely no need to become a saint (the word saint contains within it the word sin),
be a Yogi - whatever be your philosophical stand, be a follower of Dharma, as TJ says Dharmo Rakshathi Rakshitaha!
as for love, you must first see what you mean by it. once the meaning is clear all these songs will probably lose their meaning.
btw,
there is no hard and fast rule that love\crush (which are not the same you know) , must be a one time thing only. if you are a good guy and you are rejected, fine move on ... Vasudeva will only smile at people who take these things seriously.
