Cheran's Thavamai Thavamirunthu

The director who gave us "Autograph" (one of the best films I had ever seen - I could'nt sleep for 2 days!) is back with Thavamai Thavamirunthu. This film is releasing for Diwali. I saw the above picture in Ananda Vikatan and it reinforced my strong belief in Cheran! Its such an artistic picture! An epitome of simplicity, ethinicity, rusticity, elegance and beauty! Just beautiful! I am hooked to the songs from the film and infact I am quite shocked since the songs were composed by Sabesh-Murali (brothers of Deva)! They gave a wonderful BGM in Autograph and I am quite sure the BGM of this movie is one to look for. Do listen to the songs - its just mesmerizing. Ho - I should not forget to say about Padma Priya - the heroine of this film - I am just mesmerized by her beauty from the day I saw her interview in some malayalam channel long time ago! She is damn pretty!

awakening coma, arjuna's life is similar to the one in autograph which is sort of derived from "High Fidelity" but with the native touch -- Arjuna has already started following Cheran and sharing about his love life to all of us ;) inna Arjuna

About the picture - I completely agree with you - for some reason this simple picture touches your heart.

hi,
true, i was shocked and surprised by the quality of the songs in this movie (as composers are Sabesh-murali). really impressive. esp the three songs you mentioned are too good. These songs are running in a loop in my player. I hope the movie is also good.

Enna Parkirai was too good.. and Unnai saran adaintheen was resembling one of ARR's earlier composition (similar to 'Kizakku cheemaiyile..'). AFter few times, it sounds nice...

I was wondering as to why he didn't have Bharadwaj this time?

Ram C - wow same pinch - even i was thinking that I heard something similar to unnai saran in ARR's kizakku cheemayile :)..

I heard they fell out while doing Autograph (bharathwaj is known for his king size ego)! That is y cheran went to Sabesh and Murali for BGM :)

autograph is definitely a masterpiece by cheran. There is one sharp dialogue at autograph spoken by rajesh in the film which goes like this "you drink because of a girl whom you know for 2 years has left you...what if me and your mom start drinking for a son we know for 20 years is going away from us" I think this dialogue must been an inspiration for thavamai thavamirudhu. I couldn't wait to watch the performances by rajkiran and cheran.

ranjit - u got the point :) - i guess the story is that u shuld always look after ur parents and never forget them since they bring u up selflessly. Something in those lines :)
