Finally a serious post!

For a moment, I was thinking of quitting blogging - I was talking to Saravana about it. I felt that I have become addicted to it and wanted to come out of it. But then realized, if I can be useful to some - then its worth spending my time making people happy! Blogging definitely increases your creative spirit and its a pleasure to make people happy. But I guess its high time, I reduce the number of posts like others and concentrate on spirituality and research!

Thanks to Subha, I recently came across an article by Ramya Nageshwaran. I asked her whether I could provide the link here and she kindly agreed. Please do read the post and also check the website given below. It would be great if you guys could come out with ideas that would be useful to the society.

Do check out this link: http://www.goonj.org/

Arjuna, Subha, Ramya,
Thank you all for the great post and the link. I am a father of 2 daughters...and I can fully understand the impact. I've thought about this ..but never knew about goonj.!

Arjuna - Please do post..I know it is addictive but like you said, it increases your creative thinking.

Also, if you squeeze in a useful post like today you can also have the satisfaction of helping a noble cause.

PS - Please continue your posts like 'A', 'B', etc.!! Fun.!

Dr ayya

bloggin on positive thots would definitely help a great deal ..both mentally and spiritually.. bloggin on spiritual lines of thot and propagating them further is the greatest service that one can render to the blogosphere or any society..if u have the insight to practically relate the jnana u have accumulated , it would really benefit an
average user..

after all for how long can one stick onto the plain mundane stuff ??? :)

there's a great ocean of wealth waiting to be uncovered out there.

dunno abt others..but i would ideally like u to continue bloggin on wat u are best at and u know wat it is dont u??

may both the reader and the writer get benefited

Shreyo bhuyaath sakala jananam

Hi Arjuna,

That was a very useful website.

And why on earth would you want to quit blogging?! You are doing such a good job by keeping so many of us happy by reading your posts!

Fun, seriousness, gloom, happiness, anger, calmness, - all this and much more make one Life.

Just by concentrating on serious thoughts you would definitely be doing a great service to your mental faculties, but then when you write a comical or humourous post you will help your readers relax a great deal! :) Think about us too!

Also, this I have noticed in my case. Whenever I write a spiritual post, my frame of mind becomes quite serious atleast for the two hours that follow the post. The same thing applies to any post which is conveying emotions. A humourous post keeps me smiling for sometime. And so on.

Obviously we get addicted to it. Addiction is generally to a negative thing. Blogging isn't. That much I can guaruntee you.

If you leave the blogosphere, then all of us, your faithful readers will have to unfortunately sue you for forcibly de-addicting us. We are addicted [in the good sense] to your blog. Please don't even think of quitting.

Keep writing! :) Write anything! Let yourself free! :)

thiru Dr Ayya avargala, the only reason to quit blogging is because u dont enjoy it, and it becomes a burden to update, until that stage arises u shud keep blogging, and please dont stick only spiritual posts, also post the kind of things u r doin now, a mix would be ideal, neither here nor there, a balance between the two. in ur spiritual terms, it would be the middle path.
