Life is Disgusting!
You wont be expecting me to say this after getting a doctorate yesteray..But I wasnt that happy and would never be happy. Why?
Yesterday, I hear a news from my mother saying, the neighbour who stays below our flat in Chennai has cancer! Her name is Priya and she was so pretty. And now due to chemotherapy, she has lost all her hair and is in a real bad state.
Today, I hear another news from my mother saying that, one of our friend's family was killed in an accident while driving to Trichy for a wedding. The entire family (10 members) perished in the incident except his son who is a 13 year old. That uncle looks just like actor Vikram and we used to call him Vikram!
I always felt life was full of sorrows with little happiness here and there..I was always paranoid about death and disease and will continue to be! The very thought of losing your loved ones kills me! Life is not to be enjoyed but to be realised! Life is disgusting!
Seek refuge in Arunachala. He can give you Eternal Happiness!

It's surely painful to lose someone who was close to us.
Let's look at it in another sense. All those who have left this world have gained entry into the Supreme. So, maybe we need to balance our grief over losing them with the happiness of their reaching God.
Life is to be realised. Not to be disgusted with Doctor!
Cheer up!
Brother Arjuna
I am sorry to hear this.
That is harsh reality of life and also tell us how fickle our existince on this earth is.
Recently my neighbour lost her mother not a natural death(dont want to go into details as it is very painful one), we all felt so helpless.
But being a spiritual person, you should pray for them sincerely that will help them alot
take care
Hmm if your life is full of enjoyments, you are blind with intoxication, power and pride, Its the surest sign that Arunachala is not by your side.
On the other hand even if you are the worst sinner, had lived life in utmost distress and realized the greatness of shiva and that this life is disgusting, Its a definite sign that Arunachala is by your side.
contemplate on these words from Gita, Arjuna. I'ts bliss.
Shree Bhagwan said
You grieve over those who should not be grieved for and yet speak like the learned; wise men do not sorrow over the dead or the living.
In fact, there was never a time when I was not , or when you or these kings were not. Nor is it a fact that hereafter we shall cease to be.
Just as boyhood, youth and old age are attributed to the soul through this body, even so it attains other body, The wise man does not get deluded about this.

Arjuna..

Sorry to hear that Arjuna, But that is the rule of life I guess, happiness are patches of oasis in the desert of sadness.
But sadness is what makes man a better person.
